Terms In force from March 2, 2026
Terms of service
These terms govern your use of MicPrep, the guest booking and interview preparation service published by MLJ, SASU. They are written for the people who actually run shows, so the sentences are short and the obligations are stated once.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a MicPrep account, by publishing a booking link through the service, or by paying a subscription invoice, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and of the show or company you represent. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
2. What the service is
MicPrep is a web application for independent podcast hosts and small show producers. It publishes a booking page tied to the recording windows you define, synchronizes availability with Google Calendar or Outlook, sends a structured pre interview questionnaire to a confirmed guest, stores the answers together with the headshot, biography and name recording the guest supplies, sends a sequence of reminders before the session, and assembles those answers into a prep sheet you can edit, print or export. It also exports show notes material to plain text, Markdown or a block suitable for common podcast hosts.
MicPrep does not record, host, edit or distribute audio, and it is not a substitute for your recording platform or your feed host. It is the desk between the yes and the record.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old and able to enter a contract in your country of residence. You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything done under your account by the producers and co hosts you invite. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
Use MicPrep to book and prepare guests for your own shows. Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk invitations, to harvest contact details, to impersonate another show, to store material you have no right to hold, or to distribute unlawful, harassing or infringing content. Do not attempt to probe, scan or overload the service, to reverse engineer it, or to resell access to it without a written agreement. We may suspend an account that puts other users, guests or the platform at risk, and we will tell you why.
5. Plans, pricing and billing
MicPrep is sold on three monthly plans, quoted and charged in United States dollars: Solo Show at $15 per month, Weekly Show at $39 per month, and Network at $89 per month. Every plan is billed monthly in advance on the anniversary of the day you subscribed. There is no setup fee, no minimum term and no annual commitment. Prices exclude any sales tax or value added tax that may apply, which is added at the rate in force where you are established.
Plan limits are those published on the pricing section of the home page at the time you subscribe, including the number of shows on the account, the number of guest bookings per month on Solo Show, and the storage allowance in the asset locker. If your usage exceeds the plan you are on, we will contact you and agree a change before anything on your invoice moves. If a payment fails, we retry it twice over ten days and notify you before any suspension.
We may change published prices with at least thirty days notice sent by email to the account address. A price change never applies to a period already paid for.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from account settings, without contacting support and without a cancellation fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and the service remains fully usable until then. Booking links are retired within one hour of the period ending so that no guest lands on a page that no longer works. Your prep sheets, questionnaire answers and stored assets remain available as a single downloadable archive for ninety days after the last paid day, after which the account and its records are deleted. Part months are not refunded, except where a refund is required by the consumer law that applies to you.
7. Your content and your guests' data
You own everything you and your guests put into MicPrep: questionnaire answers, biographies, headshots, name recordings, prep sheets and notes. You grant MLJ, SASU only the licence needed to host, process, back up and display that material so the service can function for you. We do not use your content to train models, we do not sell it, and we do not use it in marketing without your written permission.
For the personal data of your guests you act as controller and MicPrep acts as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to invite a guest and for the accuracy of what you enter about them. We handle guest data as described in the privacy policy, and we will assist you with access and deletion requests a guest sends you.
8. Service availability
We aim for 99.9 percent monthly availability of the booking pages and the guest questionnaire, measured excluding announced maintenance. Maintenance is scheduled outside United States business hours wherever possible and never on a Friday. If a serious incident affects bookings, we post the status and follow up by email to affected accounts. Availability targets are commitments of effort and diligence, not a guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided as it stands and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet every requirement of your show, that it will be free of defects, or that a third party calendar or recording provider will behave as it did yesterday. Nothing here excludes the statutory guarantees that consumer law grants you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MLJ, SASU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sponsorship revenue, lost listeners, lost recordings, or the cost of a missed release. Our total liability for all claims arising in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid for the service during that period. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or gross negligence.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against third party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you or your guests upload, or from your infringement of another party's rights. We will tell you promptly about any claim and give you a reasonable opportunity to take part in the defense.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect a change in the service or in the law. Material changes are announced by email to the account address at least thirty days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect and the previous terms will govern your final period.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence continue to apply.
